Hugo and Sidewise Award Stories
Available at Fictionwise.com
The Hugo Awards are among the most prestigious literary awards available,
and are presented annually by the World
Science Fiction Society (WSFS). The 2003 Worldcon, known as
Torcon 3, took place in Toronto August 28 through September 1, 2003. More
information on Torcon 3 can be obtained at the Torcon 3 Web site.
The Sidewise Awards for Alternate History were conceived in late
1995.
The award takes its name from Murray Leinster's 1934 short story "Sidewise
In Time," in which a strange storm causes portions of Earth
to swap places with their analogs from other timelines.
