Bio: Bonnie Hamre is a multi-published author of fiction, a freelance journalist, an Internet consultant and a web designer. Born and raised in South America, Bonnie now lives on California's spectacular Central Coast. She prefers places she loves for her locales and delights in a touch of humor and a surprise twist to her plots.
She started her writing career at the age of nine with a Civil War adventure, then went on to publish short stories and articles. Her first full-length novel, A Lifetime of Love, was published by Kensington in 1994. Since then, she’s been published in Red Sage Volumes I and II, and electronically published in contemporary romantic fiction and historical time-travel. She combines her love of writing, travel and good food by producing two sites for About.com (South America for Visitors at gosouthamerica.about.com and Santa Cruz / Monterey at santacruz.about com) and two sites for WZ.com (The Busy Person's Guide to Nora Roberts at wz.com/arts/NoraRoberts.html and The Busy Person's Guide to Latin American Food and Cuisine at wz.com/food/LatinAmericanFoodCuisine.html.)
