David LeMaster
Bio: Born in San Antonio, Texas, David LeMaster holds a Masters Degree in English and a Ph.D. in Theatre from Texas Tech University. He currently acts, directs and writes in the Houston area, and teaches English at San Jacinto College.
His publications include five plays: "Marxism: 'The Gospel According to Groucho'" (Encore), "Ebenezer!" (Brooklyn), "The Grand Inquisitor" (Original Works Online), "Film Noir" (This Month Onstage), and his award-winning "The Assassination and Persecution of Abraham Lincoln" (Prentice Hall). He was recently the recipient of the Coleman A. Jennings Children's Play Award. His fiction includes The Telemarketer (The Southern Anthology) and Rube (Always E-Entertainment). He has also published in The Best Scenes and Monologues series by Meriwether Publishing and an essay on Charlie Chaplin and dreams in The Journal of Popular Film and Television.
