Bio: David Shaw is a fully qualified village idiot, an hereditary wheel tapper and a genuine gongoozler. A gongoozler, in the English sense, being somebody who can happily spend an entire day watching a river flow by. The difference between a gongoozler and a fisherman is that gongoozlers don't have enough ambition to drop a hook into the water. David prefers to catch strange thoughts and turn them into off beat stories. He has jumped out of aircraft, sailed a yacht along the Great Barrier Reef, driven the longest and heaviest trains in the world and joined the ten foot high club on the back seat of a Greyhound bus. David likes to write about those ladies who believe, in Shakespeare's words, that it is no dishonest desire to desire to be a woman of the world.
