Emma Kennedy
Bio: Emma Kennedy has a passion for books and has been a voracious reader since childhood.. ALLUDE TO MURDER is her second published novel under the name of Emma Kennedy, with poetry and children’s stories published as Karen Kennedy, and illustrations, photographs, political cartoons, essays, articles, interviews, and poetry published as Karen Davenport. Her interest in the antique icons featured in ALLUDE TO MURDER began with a BS in Art and expanded while rambling through the museums of Europe after contracting to teach and live there in 1985. This included a three-week history-tour of Russia and several major icon collections.
When not writing or painting-for-hire, she teaches high school art and teaches English when forced to. A nomad, she lived in Berlin and then in Stuttgart while researching ALLUDE TO MURDER and two other books. After five years of living in Turkey, last summer she drove with her husband and two cats across Eurasia--from eastern Turkey to central Germany--where they now enjoy their life and books in a delightful mid-19th century apartment.
