Erick Hawkins
Bio: Erick Hawkins has been an unprecedented collaborator with contemporary artists, composers and designers such as Lucia Dlugoszewski, Ralph Dorazio, Helen Frankenthaler, Ralph Lee and Isamu Noguchi. Among his many awards are a Guggenheim Fellowship (1978), the Dance Magazine Award (1983) and the Samuel H. Scripps American Dance Festival Award (1988) for lifetime achievement in modern dance. His best-known works include Here and Now with Watchers, 8 Clear Places, God's Angry Many and Killer of Enemies.
