Gloria Harchar
Bio: Experts say people change careers at least eight times in their lives. Gloria Harchar has done that. She has two Bachelors' of Science degrees: One in Education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and the other from Oklahoma State University in Accounting. She's had diverse jobs such as football referee, government liaison, internal auditor, neuropsychopharmacology lab technician, and teacher. Now, in addition to teaching she's a wife, raising two children and writing. Writing novels since 1993, she feels as if writing is her true calling. And she's been reading and studying the Regency era since high school, using Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, and more recently, Amanda Quick and Jo Beverly as her teachers. All her on the job experiences and life in general are great fodder for ideas! Her philosophy is to listen and watch. Live life, constantly aware of all your sensory and emotional experiences.
