Bio: John Kessel was born in 1950 in Buffalo, New York. He has a dual degree in both English and Physics (what a combo!). He has won one Nebula award for the story "Another Orphan" (available here at Fictionwise) and his work appears regularly in the major science fiction magazines. He currently teaches graduate level fiction writing classes at North Carolina State University.
