Bio: Marly Swick is the author of two collections of short stories, Monogamy and The Summer Before the Summer of Love, and a novel, Paper Wings. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, a James Michener Award, an O. Henry, and the Iowa Short Fiction Award. She has a BA in Creative Writing from Stanford University, an MFA from the Iowa Writer's Workshop, and a Ph.D. in English Literature from American University. She lives and teaches in Lincoln, Nebraska.
