The Red Wolves are a small mercenary troop in search of fame and fortune. Natalie is a bored teenager from a small town in Indiana, born with a rare magic that allows her to see and travel to Shivan, the alien world of the Red Wolves. When her life in Indiana becomes intolerable, she runs to Shivan seeking peace and safety, but soon finds that such a quiet life is not so easy to achieve.
