Bio: Michael, along with his wife and their dog, lives in Indiana, where he works for Grace College and Seminary. He has a Bachelor's from Princeton and a PhD from Dallas Theological Seminary, where he wrote his dissertation, "Secular Theology in the Fiction of Harlan Ellison" -- originally called "Author- and Reader-based Hermeneutics for Imaginative Literature as an Aid to Analyzing Popular World-views, with a Focus on the Fiction of Harlan Ellison." His SF friends asked what hermeneutics was, his school friends asked who Harlan Ellison was, and his advisors made him change the title.
