What's this?

Bio: Pamela Cummings has been fascinated by the drama of American?s past since she was a child. Growing up in a history-buff family, she read both history and fiction of all varieties. Undergraduate and graduate degrees in American History, separated by a stint as a market research analyst, turned the interest into a full-blown passion. Eight years ago she decided to combine her love of history and fiction and has been writing both historical mysteries and historical romances while keeping research going for non-fiction books on the Civil War. Her novels include My Rebel Belle, An Affair Of Honor, The Old Maid And The Sea, and the soon-to-be-released Duty, Honor, Murder, all from Amber Quill Press. 3 No Regrets: The Civil War Diary of David Day [MultiFormat]
by Pamela Cummings
A rediscovered gem ... Originally published under the title My Diary of Rambles with the 25th Mass. Volunteer Infantry, with Burnside's Coast Division; 18th Army Corps, and Army of the James by King and Billings, Printers, in 1884. This edition contains an additional editor's preface and editorial comments. Although David L. Day was a "common" soldier he was without a doubt a highly individual member of the Union Army. His diary reflects this. He makes little mention of grand battles, great comm... more info>> 2003
