Richard Wadholm
Alert me when new Richard Wadholm titles are added

What's this?

Bio: Since graduating from the Clarion West Writers' Workshop in 1997, Richard Wadholm has sold three stories to Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, one of which, "Green Tea," was a finalist for the year 2000 Theodore Sturgeon Award for best SF story of the year. Rick lives in southern California, where he's spent most of his life. Here's what Rick has to say about himself:

"Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, right next to the air base. (We used to refer to it as 'The First Goodbye.') My first sf book would have been The Door into Summer, by Robert Heinlein. My first real, life-changing SF Experience would be Rite of Passage, by Alexi Panshin. (You laugh, Lucius, I'll slug you.) I read it when I was fourteen-years-and-one-week old, which is the only time I've ever been the exact age of a book's main character as I was reading about her. I fell in love with Mia Havero, fell in love with science fiction. Been having my heart broken one way or another ever since."
