Rick left them to pursue his research for more effective methods in reading practical, technical and study type materials. He felt that a heavy emphasis on skimming and scanning in relatively easy materials was conventional but not effective enough for practical, technical and study applications.

After years of research, work and testing, his unique new 2001 Third Edition Power Reading course has been released.
