Robert J. Sawyer
Alert me when new Robert J. Sawyer titles are added

What's this?

Bio: Robert J. Sawyer won the Nebula Award for Best Novel of 1995 for his The Terminal Experiment. That book was also a Hugo nominee, as were Rob's novels Starplex, Frameshift, Factoring Humanity, and Calculating God. He has won the top SF awards in Canada, Spain, France, and Japan. Although his short fiction ranges from SF to fantasy to horror, his novels are exclusively hard SF, with strong characters and usually contemporary or near-future settings. The Denver Rocky Mountain News calls Rob "just about the best SF writer out there." His books are mainstream bestsellers in his native Canada, and have hit number-one on the bestsellers list published in the SF trade journal Locus. His current project is the Neanderthal Parallax trilogy of novels, published by Tor: Hominids, Humans, and Hybrids.

2 Hominids [Secure eReader (recommended)]
by Robert J. Sawyer
Robert Sawyer's last four SF novels have all been nominated for the Hugo Award and the NebulaŽ Award. Those very different books had only their strengths in common: imaginative originality, unique scientific extrapolation, and great stories. Hominids, the first book of the Neanderthal Parallax, is a story of parallel worlds, ours, and another in which neanderthals, not homo sapiens, became the dominant intelligent species. In that world, neanderthal civilization has reached heights of culture an... more info>> 2002 Nebula Award(R) Preliminary Ballot Nominee, Hugo Award Winner
