Bio:

Sarah Baker grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. After a year at Emory in Atlanta, she dropped out and moved to Alaska, where she enjoyed a taste of the Wild West pipeline days. Three years later, Sarah returned to the Lower 48 and earned a Master's degree in engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. As a civil engineer for the government, she has lived all over the United States, but considers both Alaska and Louisiana home. 3 Night Life [MultiFormat]
by S. H. Baker
My name is Dan Strake. I used to be a cop. After a shootout with a teenager left a bad taste in my mouth, I quit the force and bought the Green Lantern, a small downtown saloon. Most of my regulars are society's outcasts who just need a little understanding. Things are usually quiet in the Green Lantern on Thursday nights, but a murder changes that. Although Bambi's death looks like a drug deal gone bad, I know better. I start after Bambi's killer not realizing just how dangerous the trail will ... more info>> 2004

4 To One Who Waits [MultiFormat]
by S. H. Baker
"To one who waits, a moment is like eternity." That's what Confucius said, and I can verify that as I lie bleeding on a cold floor, waiting to see the face of my killer. And I'm not his only victim. When Gary Munson's wife hired me to find her husband's murderer, I had no idea what I was getting into. I'd worked beside Gary for years, but I hadn't really known him. Is the killer Gary's new partner? Or maybe the loan shark he owed big bucks to? Or is it someone else altogether? I only hope I live... more info>> 2006
