Sax Rohmer

Bio: Sax Rohmer (1883-1959) is best known as the creator of Dr. Fu Manchu, the super-villain who typified the "yellow menace" as popularized at the turn of the 19th century into the 1930s. Rohmer is also noted for such early fantasy novels as "The Quest of the Sacred Slipper" and such occult detective novels as "The Dream Detective." His influence on fantasy, horror, and mystery are still felt today.
