Bio: Tobias S. Buckell is a "born Caribbean" speculative fiction writer. His sometimes island flavored work often turns up in various magazines and anthologies. He is a Clarion graduate, Writers of The Future prize winner, and is eligible for the John W. Campbell award for Best New Writer.

Tobias now lives in Ohio, which considering that he grew up in Grenada, the US, and the British Virgin Islands, he often finds a bit strange. For this reason he feels rather comfortable writing about "strange things happening to seemingly normal people."

During the regular weekday he works at a small liberal arts college's technology center. He is also the webmaster for Tangent Online.
