Description: Thousands of years ago, a civilization was so torn by fear that they decided to flee their homeland and conquer another continent. Knowing that any stray thought of the evil they had fled from would cause the evil to follow, the leaders ordered their mages to develop the Spell of Forgetfulness. There was, however, a flaw in the magic. To wed a person who was not under the spell, could release the memories of the horrors, so they ordered their armies to kill all of the indigenous peoples of their new homeland before receiving the spell themselves. After a time, the armies could not remember why the slaughters were necessary, and the task was never completed. An ancient prophecy foretold of the invasion and also told of the three people who would rise to prepare their people to face the nameless horror when it arrived. The Time of Calling has begun and the births of Marak, Lyra, and Rejji, although unheralded at the time, signal a new discovery of the Forgotten Legacy.
