T. L. Schaefer
Bio: Terri "T. L." Schaefer was born and raised in Mariposa, a rural enclave of Yosemite National Park. After briefly pursuing a college education, Yosemite Valley beckoned her homeward, where she lived and worked for five years in the shadow of Half Dome. She met her husband in 1990, and was married in 1991. Giving up her "real" job as a hotel assistant manager and her off-time pursuits as a volunteer firefighter, she followed her husband in his career as an Air Force medic. Since then they have been all over the world, living in Portugal for three years and visiting many European locales.
Terri has been writing since before she can remember--everything from letters to the editor to short stories. The Schaefers have since settled in Northern Oklahoma where she works as an executive secretary for the Department of Defense. The Summerland is Terri's first published work.
