David C. Burton
Bio: David Burton was born in Pittsburg, PA and lived in Ligonier, PA. for ten years. He then moved to Florida, Switzerland, New York, Connecticut, and Vermont. He spent one year in college then joined the Army and spent two years in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Back in the US he was a mechanic, boat builder and sailor and has ha traveled by thumb, motorcycle and sailboat. Upon his return from sailing in the South Pacific, he turned to writing. His first writing teacher was mystery writer, Elizabeth George.
Manmade For Murder was published by Write Way Publishing, Worldwide Mysteries, and selected by the Detective Book Club in 1997. His second book, a fantasy/adventure/horror novel titled Hell Cop (the first of a series), was published by Silver Lake Publishing in 2004. He is married with one dog and now works as a custom cabinetmaker in Colorado. The water calls again, and plans to return to the proximity of Big Water are in the works. There he plans to write more about the characters that pass through his life and brain in both novel and screenplay form.
