Bio:

Hall taught English for 28 years, editing and cartooning a teacher newsletter, which won national awards. Now a full0time freelance writer and editor, she instructs writing classes, speaks at writers conferences, and is active in two writers organizations. She writes two monthly columns "Demystifying Writer's Demons" for several writer newsletters and a travel column, "Roam with Joan," for a newspaper. Her articles and short stories, even some light verse, have appeared in national and state publications. A life-long fan of Arthurian legend, Hall grew up in Llano, Texas and graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos.
