Joan Vincent

Bio: Joan Vincent's sister brought her 200 Regencies in 1976 when she was confined to bed for several weeks. By the last one, Joan decided that she could write a Regency because she loved history and the written word. After a few disappointments, she wrote and sold Thomasina to Dell. It made the Dalton Mass Media list, and Dell purchased seven more manuscripts. After retiring from teaching, Joan Vincent returned to writing in 2000, and in June 2002 sold The Promise Rose. The Scapegrace Miss, retitled The Betrothal, was released by Avalon Books in June, 2005. For more on Joan Vincent, visit her website at www.joanvincent.net.
