Helen Ksypka

Bio: Helen's writing spans a broad range of genres and styles. Penning her first poem, at age seven, sparked Helen's muse; at age fourteen she emerged as an award-winning essayist, and a year later her songwriting talent bloomed.

By adulthood, she catapulted to professional status, writing TV spots and comedy sketches, ad copy, nationally syndicated radio bits and numerous other formats including articles, expert advice, commentaries, and humor.

Helen's scriptwriting ability led her to the California-based publisher, "Children's Story Scripts" (which are read in group settings, helping kids overcome performance anxiety.) Helen's titles include: Dave's Unhappy Teeth, The Determined Maiden, Booga the Caveman Discovers Oil and Oh, Please, Not Opera...Learning LaBoheme. The latter proves to be very popular since Helen found a way to make opera so much fun that kids actually enjoy it. (For phone orders and info about Helen's titles, call: 1-818-787-5584.)

Helen's humorous poems have been published in several anthologies, but her eclectic background doesn't stop there. She's worked as a print model, motivational speaker, voice-over talent, drama instructor--and as a professional actress, Helen has appeared in TV shows and films such as: "Cheers", "St. Elsewhere", "The Law and Harry McGraw", "The Verdict", "The Bostonians", "Mr. North", .... She's worked with celebrities such as: Vanessa Redgrave, Christopher Reeve, Jerry Orbach, Robert Urich ....

Helen has received numerous awards and citations as well as praise for her work in the Emmy-nominated PBS production, "Roland Hayes: Ministry of Music."

Helen's professional memberships include Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, American Educational Research Council and the Association of Professional Communication Consultants.

At the present time, Helen continues to write, focusing on children, humor, self-help, and how-to. She is also the Founder of Born Organized , her consulting business which teaches people how to have an orderly, productive, fulfilled life. You can learn more about Helen's philosophies and multifaceted talents by visiting her web site, www.bornorganized.com

Helen resides in the U.S. in Southern Maine, where the ocean, woods, and mountains keep her balanced and filled with inspiration.
