Bio: Kirk Pocan is a 25-year environmental chemist educated in geography, chemistry and biology, living in Elk Grove Calif on a small ranch with his wife Jeanette, two dogs and four llamas. He published freelance non-fiction on alternate energy, wilderness preservation and recreation with local and regional papers and magazines. This is his first work of fiction. He has climbed extensively in the Western United States.
