Bruce McAllister
Bio: Bruce McAllister made his first professional science fiction sale at age 16, and over the decades shas published in the major f&sf magazines and 'year's best' anthologies,' with two of his stories Hugo finalists and a third chosen for THE BEST AMERICAN SHORT STORIES 2007, edited by Stephen King. He was on the first jury for the James Tiptree Memorial Award and served for a number of year's as associate editor of the 'Harry Harrison/Brian Aldiss BEST SF series. His short story collection, THE GIRL WHO LOVED ANIMALS AND OTHER STORIES, was published by Golden Gryphon Press in 2007. As a young science fiction fan and writer he always wondered what it would really be like to live in a future as the Golden Age of Science Fiction portrayed it, and, forty years later, KIN is his answer to that young man's wondering."
