Except for black lights and strobe lights, the club was dark. Jack wouldn't be recognized. He adjusted his sunglasses as he made his way through the gyrating crowd and glanced behind him. No one was following. Thank God. Tonight, he refused to be Jackson Montague, New York's up-and-coming attorney and tabloid scapegoat. Tonight, he was going to have some fun, incognito, and make a few indiscretions without the public gaining access to his playboy lifestyle. It wasn't as if he purposely went on a hunt for married women and hookers. He just liked sex. And, after all, he couldn't pick who he was attracted to.
He walked up to the bar and ordered a scotch before scanning the females at the bar from behind his sunglasses. A pair of long, slender legs, complete with stilettos caught his attention. He allowed his gaze to rise higher, to her short denim skirt, her tight tank top, and her full, womanly breasts. After his eyes slowly and carefully raked over every inch of her voluptuous body, he took a quick look at her face. It was pleasing enough: cute nose, full lips, straight teeth, green eyes, and natural-looking blond hair. Jack had found his prey for the evening.
"Hey," he shouted over the music.
The girl turned from her martini and toyed with the cherry as she looked Jack up and down. Her eyes settled on his face, still masked by the dark glasses.
"Yeah?" she replied, giving him a playful, but otherwise unreadable, grin.
