"I'll miss you like sin while I'm gone." Brent McNeil rolled out of bed and went to stand by the window. Fireworks from Edinburgh Castle lit up the night sky. "But this is something I feel I must do."
"No worries." Colin Ross reached for a cigarette on the nightstand. "It'll be purgatory without you, but hell, this thing's been eating you up for years." He flicked his lighter. "Hopefully, by going back to the scene of the crime, so to speak, you'll get some closure."
"Amen to that, and for the family too, of course. It sent them on one hellish roller coaster ride."
"Especially your grandmother." Colin's green eyes narrowed against the cigarette smoke.
Brent thought how deliciously handsome he looked in the lamplight. Flaxen haired, and built like Apollo, such a contrast to his own dark hair and eyes, courtesy of his Highland ancestors. But then opposites appeared to attract.
"You better get some sleep," Colin said. "Your flight leaves early." He stubbed out his cigarette.
"Our last night together for a while, and all you can think of is sleep?" Brent jested. "Am I losing my sex appeal?"
"Oh God, man, never happen." Colin laughed and pulled Brent down beside him. They play wrestled for a while until desire built to a crescendo. Brent flicked around Colin's nipples with his tongue, before licking all the way down to his naval and groin.
