I've been writing for years and really enjoy telling stories. The funny thing is that I'm inspired by things which happen every single day. Like, for instance, I was riding in the backseat of a car with a friend and her boyfriend. They were carrying on a lively conversation while he was driving.

Believe me, I was seriously worried we wouldn't get to our destination in one piece. He was zipping in and out of traffic like a NASCAR driver while chatting with his girlfriend and making me car sick in the process!

We did make it, of course, but what struck me as strange was that it never even fazed him why I was so pale and shaky when I got out of his car. I silently vowed never to ride with this guy ever again...and I didn't.

However, years later, I decided to start off Crazy For You with something exciting and nerve-wrecking. So I recalled that stomach churning ride through Charlotte and put the hero's stepsister, chatty Mina, in the driver's seat...and away we zipped into the story!

I've also been inspired by real-life people too. Tia, the pretty, smart waitress in They Call Me Trouble, was based on several fine folks I've known over the years in the restaurant business. Food service is not an easy occupation, yet I've known several who managed to work while handling relationships and furthering their education. They were always striving to better their lives. This story is my big 'kudos' to those smart, hardworking folks!

So, as an author, I enjoy slipping little bits of fun (and mild terror) into my stories that have inspired me through the years. I hope you enjoy reading this erotic romance collection as much as I did writing it!
