"Look at that." Sugar called out. "Sage, you and Jesse are under the mistletoe. You have to kiss him."

"I'd kiss him if I was forty years younger," Granny told them.

Sage and Jesse both turned to Granny and smiled before turning to each other. He eased closer, and Sage's stomach fluttered. She had wanted to kiss him moments earlier and would've if her mother hadn't yelled. She still wanted to.

His eyes darkened like they had outside, and he offered her a small smile as he reached out and gently pulled her into his arms. His arms were strong, his chest solid as Sage's breasts pressed against it. Her eyes fluttered closed, and for the second time that day, she felt his warm breath against her lips. She faintly smelled his cologne, purely arousing to the senses.

Her heart raced as his lips came down on hers and sent a bolt of heat resembling a streak of lightening through her body. His tongue glided across her lower lip, and she tasted his hunger as her lips parted, granting him access. Her tongue met his, and her knees weakened. She reached for his upper arms for support, and his arms tightened around her. His hand splayed across her lower back, pressing her against him as it moved up.

Moaning, Sage melted into him just as a loud whistle echoed in her ears, reminding her they were far from alone. His lips left hers, and her eyes snapped open. Her breath was slightly ragged, as was his. It was the most intense kiss of her life. This escort thing seriously had its advantages. Still in Jesse's arms, she turned to her sister. "Are you through?"

Sugar snorted, her green eyes dancing, and tossed her long brown hair over her shoulder. "Yes, but apparently the two of you aren't."
