"Oh, Robbie! It's perfect!"

Robbie laughed and stood. After a moment, he cocked his head to the side, then dabbed a touch of white paint to the baby panda's eye before turning around. "Thanks. You like it?"

"Yes!" Kristy went up to the wall in front of him and reached out, but stopped before touching it. "Is it dry yet?"

"Parts of it." He set the paintbrush in the glass of cloudy gray turpentine and wiped his hands on the paint-covered rag draped over the back of the chair. "You seen Seth lately?"

"Um, think he ran to the store," Kristy said, gingerly running her fingertips over the baby giraffe's head. "Said something about chili for dinner."

Robbie's stomach picked that moment to rumble loud and clear. Seth's chili was positively to die for--thick and spicy as hell. Just then, the front door opened and closed and his cowboy's deep humming resounded through the house to a somewhat out-of-tune Hank Williams Jr. song. Robbie shook his head and Kristy chuckled.

"Believe me." Robbie grinned. "That mouth is much better at other things."

"Like...?" Seth asked from the nursery doorway. That long, beautiful body was encased in black cotton and faded blue denim. Green eyes teased Robbie from under the brim of a black Stetson.

"Oh, Lord. Y'all are hopeless." Kristy just rolled her eyes, laughing as she left the room.

"Hey, babe."

"Hi, yourself." Seth started toward him, almost stalking.

"You look like you're..." Robbie's words trailed off as Seth tugged him close.

Grinning against Robbie's lips, Seth whispered, "Like what?"

Robbie simply gave up on talking and took a kiss, humming happily when those strong arms wrapped tight around him. Seth smelled like chili powder and cayenne pepper. Painting forgotten, Robbie moved lower, nuzzling Seth's neck, drawing in the sharp spices and the scent of Seth himself--aftershave and the slightest hint of soap, flavored with a little touch of sweat and pure, one-hundred percent Texan male. His prick went from lazy to interested within seconds, his lips finding the spot just below Seth's left ear that made his cowboy absolutely fucking crazy.

"Sweet fuck." Seth hissed as Robbie sucked up a mark, teeth scraping just a little.

"Mmm..." Robbie nodded, started pushing Seth toward the door, hoping he could get them into the bathroom across the hall before one of them gave in and they ended up fucking in the hallway.

It wouldn't be the first time.
