"Who's that?" Luna asked Lacie who was busy frowning at the DJ for playing the worst music ever.
Lacie mouthed something then leaned in to speak with Luna, "Who?"
She knew it was rude to point but she did and Lacie only giggled. "That's Shawn Jones. He's a basketball player ... Luna thinks he's hot!"
Luna had only blushed in the dimly lit room and sat down at their table to order a beer as the waitress walked by with a tray above her head.
A few hours in, Shawn had made his way over to her. He sat down and began speaking to her, but she couldn't hear him so he moved to sit beside her and leaned close to speak in her ear. A shiver went down her spine, causing her to giggle and he had laughed at that. The next thing she knew, she was on the dance floor with him and he was teaching her how to, "Drop it Like It's Hot," with him up close behind her.
Luna's head snapped up as she heard a loud knock on her front door and her heart began to race.
