"Scherzo with Tyrannosaur" by Michael Swanwick is the lead story in this issue and it's easy to see why. This is a carefully crafted time travel story with paradoxes, secrets known only to time travellers, and a dinner banquet with everyone's favorite predatory dinosaur as the guest of honor. In both its main character and the tragic complexity of the ending, "Scherzo" recalls Heinlein's classic "All You Zombies", and fully deserves to be included in that illustrious company." -Greg L.
