You wake up in a large cardboard box.
What happened? Did you fall asleep?
You can't remember.
You look up.
The box is very dark and what little light there is comes from the top where a flap is partially open. You get to your feet and look around. The top of the box is too high for you to reach. How are you going to get out? For that matter, you can't even remember how you got in!
Maybe this is all a dream and you're going to wake up soon. Yes, maybe that's it. It's all a dream. But even as you think it, you know that it isn't.
So where were you and how did you get here? And, as a matter of fact, who were you? Because now you realize that you don't even know that!
You try hard to remember.
First of all, you're a boy scout. At least you know that. In fact, you even have your uniform on.
And your name is--Ted!
"Yes, Ted," you say out loud.
Ted what? Don't you have a last name?
You shrug. You're going to drive yourself crazy asking all these questions. The first thing to do is to try to get out of the box.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a deep, loud voice says, "There you are!"
You are so startled, you jump.
