Harold didn't bother to mention that he was leaving me until I was halfway out the door this morning, already ten minutes late because of his earlier heart palpitations. While it was only a moment's work to swing my briefcase at his head, the upshot was that I had to rush home during my lunch hour to bury the body before the cleaning woman came at three. That was Harold for you, inconsiderate to the end.

Now, instead of spending this time to prepare my demands for next year's budget, I was home dragging Harold by the heels towards the kitchen. "Oh great Harold, just knock over that planter. After I finish burying you, I have nothing better to do than clean up your mess."
