eBook Description: Arrogant and over-confident, White Eagle and his brother Red Shadow capture a sassy, independent young white woman. Both brothers want Elizabeth. White Eagle for her body and spirit, Red Shadow for their mutual knowledge of the healing arts. The twins battle over which one owns her. Elizabeth has one last chance to save her life. Can she ignore her increasing attraction for the white man raised as an Indian and make her bid for freedom? Or, is the chance to save innocent lives enough to compel her to face the enmity of the tribe and return to the village and to White Eagle, the man she has come to love?

"I strongly suggest you read this book--it has the special magic that takes the reader into the story and makes us live the story along with the characters. Well written and allows the reader to become part of a time in our history we only read of in books. Excellent!! Overall rating: 5 Hearts."--Louise Riveiro-Mitchell, The Romance Studio

The man advanced until he stood directly in front of her. She only had to shove the arrow forward a few inches to pierce his skin, but she couldn't move. "You have no need to fear me, Little Robin." White Eagle's voice whispered to her from the darkness. She watched as he reached for her. His hands, grasping her by the shoulders, gently pulled her forward until the point of the arrow poked him. "I can break you as easily as snapping that twig you hold." His head lowered toward her, "Or you can bend with me." His lips brushed against hers with silken softness. The hand on her wounded shoulder lifted to caress her cheek. "I tried to stay away from you. I couldn't. I don't care if you poison the whole tribe, I must have you."
Elizabeth fought to regain her equilibrium. His gentle kiss had drugged her. Her hand had loosened the death grip it had on the arrow until he uttered his last sentence. Jerking away, she tightened both fists around the wooden shaft. She shoved it forward where it indented the skin of his abdomen. The point was too small to do much damage. It needed the projection of a bow to penetrate. "How dare you? You still don't believe me. You still think I could stoop to hurt people. All I ever wanted to do was heal. Get away from me. I won't let you use me to ease your base nature." White Eagle laughed. It was an expression of delight. Nothing frightened this woman. She had courage beyond his experience. He knew he was right from the start. She belonged with him.
