"What is it?" Moonrazer asked, as she followed Adazzra.

"I've found someone hurt." Adazzra didn't think she should tell Moonrazer that the injured man was Vlaad. Soon, they arrived at the edge of the stream where she had left him.

Moonrazer froze when she saw the person. "He is Vlaad."

Adazzra nodded. "I know. He's been injured."

The warrior scowled. "Leave him. Let him die here."

Adazzra heard the same sentiment whispered among the trees, but she knew what she had to do. She was a healer and she couldn't allow any living thing to die if she had the power to save him. Her hesitation lasted only a heartbeat. "I can't do that, Moony. I am a healer."
