"4 Hearts ... Trixie Stilletto packs a lot of plot into a short story and if quick sensual reads are a favorite of yours then you definitely want to put "The Quarterback" on your reading list."--The Romance Studio

Maggie did remember. Worse, just the memory combined with the husky tone of his voice was getting her excited. Other than earlier that afternoon at the practice field, it was a feeling she hadn't experienced in much too long. She really had to get out more often if just the touch and sound of this man's voice was driving her so crazy.
"Ken," she began, ready to tell him to stop, wishing she could tell him never to stop. "I can still taste you on my lips," he grunted, overriding her objections, as if he could sense everything she was thinking. Before she herself knew what was in her mind. She felt his heart beating, strong and rapidly, under her fingertips. She could see the harsh glare of desire ripple across his face. How had they gotten so close they were almost melded together without her even realizing she had moved? Did she care? "You were sweeter than any wine, any ambrosia, I'd ever tasted in my life. In fact, I think they must have named ambrosia after you. You know what I remember next when I think of the taste of you?" Maggie shook her head. Either in denial of what he was saying and doing to her, or afraid to know what he was going to say or do next?
