eBook Description: She closed her eyes briefly, gave her head a shake, then turned the doorknob. She'd check the safe in the library, call Gino and blow this place. She stepped through the door, then turned and managed a gay laugh. "Don't forget about that dance David." "Damn." He growled. Their eyes met briefly and she found herself staring into a pair of dark, very angry eyes. He slithered silently across the room, covering the distance between them in two smooth strides. Kicking the door shut, he covered her mouth, as she stood frozen, staring at him, mouth open but no sound emitting. There was pain and then everything faded to black.

"You're fine. In fact, you're spectacular." She pulled free from his hand and stood up. She turned, staring down at his beautiful body, naked on the bed. It was hard and muscular. Not an inch of fat on him. He had a sexy triangle of curly blond hair on his chest, just right for running your fingers through. He shifted his weight so he was resting on one elbow, the muscles in his arm flexed. The sheets were mostly balled up at the foot of the bed and thrown recklessly askew across his ankles. He looked a bit like a Greek god, not that she'd ever seen a Greek god, but he had a great body.
"No I really have to go. Besides I don't want to run into too many people, still wearing my dinner dress from last night." "You're going to have keep some day clothes down here so you don't have that problem." Eric suggested. "Why? Do you think I'm going to make this a habit? Besides the ship docks tomorrow." "I can only hope we manage to make this a regular arrangement, at least somewhere. Okay, do you want me to walk you back to your room?" "No, but thanks for the offer. I think it's safe now." "We need to talk about that. Jack says it wasn't him." "What do you mean?" Holly turned. "He says he didn't try to kill you. Although he thinks it's a good idea." "Well he's lying. Isn't he?" Holly's eyes widened. "I mean it had to be him. Why would anyone else want me dead?"
