Shortly before their disappearance and far removed from the planet of origin, the 'Creators' designed a specialized race. Beloved by their makers, this species was given gifts beyond those of most. These people received this bounty at a price. Intentional or not, the descendants were driven to nurture and protect beings of lesser abilities. However, mirroring the fundamental contrary nature of the universe, the 'Beloved' became divided by the seemingly simple purpose. Some chose enlightenment. Others chose dominance.
