Unblinking, J. B. met her gaze. Six feet tall in her stocking feet, today in her three inch heels she nearly matched his height of six-four. He thought she was absolutely perfect. He could just tip his head forward and their lips would meet. No crick in the neck. He wanted to. Oh, how he wanted to taste her. Such luscious, kissable lips should be attended on a regular basis.

Mesmerized by the twinkle in his blue eyes and unwillingly fascinated by his mouth, Michael watched as the corner turned up and J. B. shook his head. "Don't change the subject on me, Michael. I'm only askin' you to dinner. Dinner with a friend. You eat dinner, so why not with me? You might enjoy the company."
