eBook Description: On the surface, Annie seems to have it all; good times, money and plenty of men to warm her bed. But her libido and emotions take a nose dive when she meets Joel, an Orthodox Jew with a devastating body and personality to match. Unfortunately for Annie (a non-observant Jew herself), Joel is devastatingly devout, and determined to save himself for marriage even as he relentlessly pursues her. Annie must reclaim her lost faith and sacrifice her desire for immediate gratification to claim the ultimate role as Joel's life-mate. But it isn't easy; as both fall deeper in love with each other, they must fight the passionate urge to consummate physically the deep bond they share emotionally. Told from Annie's point of view, Double Mitzvah describes the fiery attraction between two people of different cultures, set against the background of a religion rich with tradition, culture and warmth...

"Erica DeQuaya pens a journey that is truly amazing to share with Joel and Annie. Told from Annie's point of view, the reader shares in the acceptance and love for her husbands religion (one that she at one time wanted nothing to do with) as she expresses the love she has for the family and their beliefs, which she embraces. While some may not understand the religion, it doesn't necessarily matter in this case, Ms. DeQuaya writes the passion-filled words of a woman who holds tight to her beliefs, stands behind them and her husband 100%. It is Annie's passion and voice that holds the reader hostage to Double Mitzvah and curious about the Orthodox Jewish religion. Through all the above, Ms. DeQuaya adds some of the hottest scenes that melt the pages. Joel and Annie never made love before their marriage, which strengthened the bond they shared, but through Annie's voice, we feel the sexual tension and desire they had for one another. Annie and Joel's marriage was loving, heated and inspiring. Erica DeQuaya pens an amazing tale within only twenty-eight pages. It was enlightening, as well as touching and arousing. Read this author as never before. She has written a fantastic tale with Double Mitzvah that shouldn't be missed."--Tracey West, The Road to Romance"Love and weak-kneed passion can be found with the most unlikely people, as Annie finds out. She comes from parents where one is a nonobservant Jew, and the other is a feminist rebel. So, when she announced that she had fallen in love with Joel, the son of an Orthodox Rabbi, they simply disowned her. Most people wouldn't be able to stand against such hateful opposition, but with Joel's love as her guide, as well as a growing understanding in his faith, Annie was able to stand tall beside Joel, willing and lovingly. Her reward was a sexy, passionate husband with whom she got to share double mitzvah with; a closer connection with God and an inner peace with herself that she had truly found her rightful place in this world. Double Mitzvah is a unique, erotic story. I found that Erica DeQuaya not only gives us the steamy encounters we love, but also an inspiring example of how religious differences can be overcome with love, compassion and understanding. I highly recommend this book be put on your must buy list."--Nadine St. Denis, Romance Junkies
"4.5 Stars ... A story of discovery and newfound appreciation of religious roots. I have never read an inspirational book, and much less in an erotic category, however, this short story pretty much is close to what I would come to expect if there was such a thing as an erotic inspirational. Double Mitzvah is not preachy at all; don't get me wrong, on the contrary, the heroine chose this path. In this story, narrated in the present tense and in first person, the author 'walks' the reader through the musings of the heroine, as she goes through one of her religious rituals throughout the course of one day. The author effectively uses flashbacks to provide further insight into the main character, enabling the reader to understand her reasoning and true appreciation of her life as it is now. I found the story to be engaging and heartwarming, despite the fact that first person narration is not my favorite point of view in a story. The author dedicates this story 'to the religion of her roots,' and I would say that she was quite successful in turning it into a tribute, showing how beautiful the rituals of her faith are as we see them through the heroine's eyes. It also shows how eroticism is not at odds at all with her faith. If you fancy an original contemporary set short story, give Double Mitzvah a try."--Mireya Orsini, Just Erotic Romance Reviews

Joel picked up my right hand and slowly licked my fingers one by one, his dark green eyes never leaving mine. I held my breath at the arousing impact of his warm tongue, and Joel flashed me a wicked grin.
"Stay tuned," he whispered before dropping my hand and joining our son. I could see it in the depths of his eyes; there was more on his mind than sucking my fingers. But with Jonathan impatiently calling, there wasn't the chance to do much more. That chance comes this evening, after the candles burn low, after the meal is eaten and after Jonathan goes to bed?
