"Do you like what you see? I must admit I like what I see when I look at you," Damian said as he turned her to face him.
"You must know your affect on women my lord. You would hardly need me to confirm it for you." "The only woman I am concerned about affecting is you. Does your pulse speed up when I do this?" Damian laid his hand on the side of her face and gently ran it down to her throat. Madeline's breath came a little faster and her pulse quickened. "I can feel your heart picking up it's pace. I wonder what it would do if I were to press my lips against the spot on your neck where it is fluttering so quickly." Madeline gasped as his lips replaced his hand and he kissed the spot on her throat where her pulse beat so delicately. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back slightly. She felt his arms go around her as he pulled her closer. She could not shake the feeling that she belonged there, in his arms. "I know I promised I would not touch you unless invited," he said as he pulled his head back to gaze into her now open eyes. "But I find your charms too strong for me to resist. All I want is one taste of you lips, then I will leave you alone. I promise." Madeline was quivering with anticipation as he leaned his head closer to hers. She wanted to know his kiss more than she wanted anything. His lips were only a breath away from hers and were almost touching her where she wanted them most.
