Start with a child. Not just any child, but one so excited about living that they can't keep still, even for a second. He should be bold, unafraid, eager to try new things and experiences. If you have two children, and one of them is too young, it will help if you have a second adult handy, keeping them entertained during the parts you must do yourself. But, if you are alone, if your wife has died and left you alone with two young boys and if every day is a struggle to get them to school and daycare and earn a living, if each day is a struggle to keep your eyes dry, and you never get enough sleep, well, you can still do it.
