eBook Description: The sexy, dark and dominant Wolf, Dante Geotas, assassin, stood inside the door of the pack club, 'La Guarida de los Lobos'--The Lair of the Wolves--located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, and looked through the dark glass at the woman in the car across the street. She had been on his heels for months following the crumbs he threw along the trail to keep her hooked and near. He knew who she was and had a pretty fair idea what it was she was hoping to gain from the stalk. There would be some point he would have to confront her, an idea that wasn't at all unappealing. Venus Rocchio, writer, had always been drawn to the shadows, the dark side of the street where forbidden things hid. It was the place nice girls didn't go, the place where voices came in whispers, the subject stained, the difference between animal and human non-existent. It was of the place of the psyche. She had never been brave enough to extend herself beyond the protection of her private thoughts, until now. Was she pursing the man because of the book, or was she pursuing the man for deeper, more intimate reasons?

It's deep, the worldbuilding quite complex, and will give you a great thrill both sensually and actionwise. Though the resolution was too quick in my book, this is one enjoyable book that will send you scurrying to find other books by Madison Foxe. In the Library Reviews Reviewer: Cyn Witkus

This book is an excellent quick read for lovers of paranormal and especially werewolf stories. Dante is a dark and sexy hero with definite alpha qualities. Venus is brave and faces some very tough decisions where Dante is concerned. The plot is sure to keep you interested and reading until the end. Reviewer: Angel Brewer Four Hearts--The Romance Studio

"Come home with me," he growled, his breath searing her lips with the invitation. She looked up into his hungry eyes, the gaze pervading. Her body spoke before her mind had interpreted the words, her lips reaching up to his eagerly. Dante had convinced her to leave her car at 'The Lair'; he would bring her back when she wanted. His property was on the outskirts of town, and as the streets became progressively darker, Venus began to consider what she allowed herself to get into. Why was she going? Because he was so incredibly sexy? Because he was dangerous, a man from the shadows? Or was it because, she might finally be able to confirm that Dante Geotas was, indeed, the 'Prince'? He punched the code into the security pad and waited as the gate opened and turned onto the drive towards the pillared portico which heralded the entrance to the mansion. Dante turned off the engine. The sudden silence magnified all of the sounds inside, and outside her body. The moment stirred a wave of second thoughts about putting herself in harm's way. It was a matter of logic. Cold fact. This was a close as she was ever going to get to confirm her suspicions. The opportunity she had been waiting for. But, practical assessment also pointed out that he was an assassin. A man who murdered for a living. Dante sensed her trepidation; he seemed amused by the quandary she was going through. He reached over and took her hand, kissing the inside of her wrist. "Don't worry. I'm not going to ask you to do anything you don't want to," he assured with a smile. He slid from behind the wheel and circled around to get her door. Venus hesitated a moment, then took the offered hand and caught the look in his eyes as she stepped from the car. The roles in the hunt had changed, and she just now realized it. She followed him, the long legs, tight ass, and muscle clad in black like a lure she couldn't turn from.
