"5 Stars! ... If you are looking for a quick read that's hot and steamy then I can highly recommend "King For A Day." Paris Dixon can go into such detail that I could almost feel the steam from the shower scene and I laughed when they had sex in the recliner and it broke, sending them to the floor! Paris Dixon has a new fan here!"--Sharon Brown, Sizzling Romances
"4 Hearts! ... "King For A Day" is sweet and to the point. This story is an excellent getaway from everyday stress. The intriguing characters, Mia and Seth, will have you cheering. The sex is totally intense so keep the ice water handy."--Angel Brewer, The Romance Studio "Paris Dixon pens a short but exhilarating tale of friends who might just have more than just friendly feelings for one another. Mia and Seth are hesitant to act on their feelings for one another and when they do--passion ignites and explodes! Ms. Dixon pens an erotic tale that sets her reader on fire and hoping their own chair doesn't break! For exciting passion, true heartfelt emotions and a quick and hot read to escape the day, grab "King for a Day--you'll be thinking about him a lot longer than that!"--Tracey West, The Road to Romance "Blue Ribbon Rating: 4.5 ... Nothing is more romantic than seeing long-time friends become lovers. For two people who know so much about each other, but not each other's bodies makes reading "King For A Day" an exciting experience. The sexual tension pours off the pages as Mia and Seth learn what it is like to be much more than 'cousins.' Paris Dixon captures your attention and pulls you right into this story until the very last page."--Bea Sigman, Romance Junkies "4 Stars! ... Boy does this short story pack some punch. Like most short stories, there is very little background to Seth and Mia, but this in no way detracts from the story. With just a few sentences, you can sense the depth of feeling between the two characters. As an independent woman, Mia decides to reach out and grab what she wants and big, brawny, sexy Seth is it. And when she gets what she wants? Spontaneous combustion. Ms. Dixon has penned a richly descriptive story, with a scorching ending. It certainly brightened (and heated) up my day."--Michelle Naumann, Just Erotica Romance Reviews "A truly enjoyable story. I liked the author's use of friendship, as a basis of relationship is wonderful. The characters know that their relationship will never be the same if they take this next step. Seth and Mia's sexual chemistry is intense. You can almost feel the steam coming off of them."--Tewanda, Fallen Angels Reviews

"I've changed for the better, I hope?" Mia ventured, drawing Seth's full attention back to her.
His Adam's apple bobbed as his scrutiny of her began anew. "Most definitely. And me? Do you think I've changed?" "Not too much." She nearly burst into laughter at his hurt expression--"The Pout," she had christened it all those years ago. Amazing, she decided, how in so many ways he still resembled the boy she had wanted to cuddle and cuddle until the end of eternity. "Oh, sure, you've gotten a lot taller, and a bit more muscular?" Again, giggles rushed up her throat when "The Pout" grew more profound, so she decided to spare him further discomfort. "But your face? Nope--you're still as handsome as ever." The answer obviously pleased him. He released a sigh, while the right corner of his mouth curled upward, cutting a sexy dimple into his cheek. Mia remembered that dimple so vividly. In the past, it had always set her pre-pubescent heart to pounding. It still did, only now with the force of a hurricane. After running the brush through her hair a final time, she tossed it onto the coffee table, where it landed on a mini-mountain of Glamour, People, and Good Housekeeping magazines. Beside the magazines lay various brochures and portfolios describing several of the area's historical homes, part of the research she had collected for her job as tour guide for the many history buffs that infiltrated Savannah each year. Instead of fantasizing about Seth while taking her long shower, she should have been out here doing "her homework." Even in youth, she had often ignored her schoolbooks when thoughts of her handsome "cousin" made it difficult to concentrate. Damn, she thought, in a mere twenty-four hours, Seth's presence had her returning to her old habits. But she truly didn't care; after all, with a half-naked hunk standing just inches away, his bronzed flesh emitting the spicy, tempting scent of Brute while his bulging muscles practically screamed for attention, what red-blooded female would prefer homework to lovemaking? Only a stupid one, Mia decided, and mentally thumbed her nose at the research...
