CHAPTER 1

On a tiny planet circling the star called Upsilon Andromedae, in the Terran year 1414...

Her Majesty Queen Jendrickar Verrian, Consort of Her Majesty K'Endarra the Magnificent, Queen Regnant of Asperia, squirmed uncomfortably. Yet, her discomfort pleased her, for on the other half of the ornate double throne her royal spouse writhed in ecstasy as one of her many sex-slaves serviced her, kneeling at her feet. K'Endarra's fingers were entwined with those of her consort, holding Jendri close in order to kiss her as desired.

Across the room from the canopied dais, another slave hung on a rack, her legs spread, her need evidenced by the moisture that dripped from her cleft onto the highly-polished marble floor beneath her. Her name was Fracta, and her hips jumped in utter futility toward her Queen; universally admired, feared and adored, her Queen whose touch was no longer felt by any slave.

The situation of this slave particularly amused the Queen Consort, because Fracta had once been a soldier, a soldier with whom Jendri had done battle. They had vanquished one another once apiece, before fate took a turn. That was over a year ago, when Jendrickar had been the commanding general of a hostile nation. That nation, called Obduria and once a republic, was now a military province of Asperia. Jendri was considered a traitor in Asperia, and no amount of security could guarantee her safety there, but it no longer mattered. She had done her best to give aid and comfort to her vanquished country by influencing the Queen, and she had succeeded. Obduria was moving slowly toward full provincial status, although not all Obdurians wanted it. Jendri couldn't help that, and her attention was on other matters. Now she was Queen Consort, as well as Duke of Paxverdi, and commanding general of her own Paxverdi Lancers. Obduria's war was receding into history and Jendri lived in the present, to serve and obey her spouse, her lord and her queen, K'Endarra.

Beneath each of the Queen K'Endarra's booted heels two other naked slaves acted as stools,. These heels, worn only for this activity, were long, tapered and deeply embedded in the backsides of her slaves, driving them almost to madness. They too, dripped helplessly onto the floor, moaning, gritting their teeth and clenching their fists in agony. Jendri could see their nails scrabbling at the marble. She smiled a secret smile. She had been there, too.
