The guy looked kind of Chinese in the dim red light. Straight long black hair and scraggly thin beard, like Ho Chi Minh's but dark. "Real bad," Tom said. "Burned my induction notice. Would go to Canada, but my old man won't give me the bread." "I'm goin' to the moon, man. I'm gonna go wait up there until the war is over," the kind-of Chinese guy said, a stoned, round-faced Buddha.
