"Robert Arthur Smith does an excellent job in Fate of keeping the reader wanting to know how and if Danny will be saved. He will draw the reader into the characters and make them feel as if the nightmares are theirs. Great book! 4 Stars!"--Danna Friborg-Lewis, Huntress Book Reviews

Possessed by the spirit of a murdered woman...Suddenly Judy thrust herself out of her chair, backing away from Royce as though he'd changed into a snake right in front of her eyes. Royce seemed completely unaware of her now. "Danny is in great danger," he said. "You're desperate to save him, but someone is blocking you. A woman you met once, a long time ago. You have to make her see the danger, but she's fighting you; she's afraid of you, and there isn't much time left. The man who killed you is going to kill Danny...." Judy backed away in quick, jerky strides, groping for the door with stiff, nerveless fingers. At last she managed to twist the doorknob, nearly falling through as the door opened behind her. The psychic looked up at her, his eyes hooded and cloudy as though he were in the grip of a fever dream. He made a visible effort and shook off the effects of his vision. "Judy, wait!" he cried. "I want to help you." She flinched, as though a knife had cut through her. She was aware of Charlene standing behind her now, holding her by the arm. "I'm sorry," Royce was saying. "I want to help you...." Judy hugged herself, trying to stop the trembling. "You got it all wrong," she said hoarsely. "You think I'm the woman in my nightmare!"
