ACT ONECRIME MATES Carl Anderson reluctantly moved from the woman on the bed at the first sound of a phone ringing. She squirmed, unhappily, looking at his lean muscular frame, eyes fairly devouring him. It was obvious that she resented the interruption. "Sorry, babe!" he shrugged, grinning at the sight of her naked body laying stretched out there. She was a package! A real hungry lady. He reached for the phone on the bed stand, saying into the receiver: "Hello?" "This is Benny. Are you just about ready for the job?" Carl looked at his watch and a stab of surprise and alarm rushed through him. Time had gone too fast in Helen's arms. He hadn't realized how late it was. 11:30--and they had the bank job to do at 1:00. "Okay, I'll be ready. Coming up?" "In a few minutes--if you can pull yourself away from that broad!" Benny's high-pitched voice laughed. There was the sound of a click and then the phone went dead in his hands. "Sorry!" he said, turning to Helen. "We'll have to continue this little thing later." "What's with you? You get a girl all hot and hungry, then turn it off?" she complained, frowning at him and starting to sit up in bed. He started getting dressed while saying: "You know the deal. Fun is one thing, but a million dollars is something else."
